The List. (UPDATE)

I do believe that constant affirmations and visualizing what you want as if you already have it makes it come true.  Knowing you will have something you don’t currently have with an almost foolish utmost conviction. Though, I like to keep the long-term ones secret, listing short-term achievements and goals has always helped me make things happen. So here’s my current (and unfinished) one in which progress you guys will have to bear witness to w/ updates and pictures….

  • Learn to cook. The feminist in me used to shy away from anything that seemed like a domestic duty but cooking is key to survival. It’s not cute not to not know how to cook.
  • Start making videos consistently.
  • Photography. Sure, me and this D100 don’t get along very well but I’m fortunate enough to have a DSLR for free and I need to use up my photography skills with practice.
  • Be more daring with my make-up and try new things.
  • Make a good percentage of my clothes second-hand by becoming a better thrifter.
  • Lead a healthier lifestyle. Cutting soda out was a big step but I still don’t feel healthy. I need to build up my stamina because I get winded walking up one flight of stairs. It’s time to break myself out of these terrible habits by following an exercise program & cutting the bullshit out of my life. It’s not about eating right to lose weight, it’s about eating right so it’ll benefit me later when I don’t have clogged arteries…and to lose weight ;] Doing the P90x @samanthamarie suggested, Pilates and the treadmill every now & again.
  • Painting. I’ve mastered the art of sketching (except hands) & will probably never let that go but I need to invest in some less generic acrylic paint colors and experiment more with painting. I am, after all, the next DaVinci.
